Payment and Refund Policy

Last updated: 26 October 2026

Scope of the policy and the products or services it covers

This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of digital courses, subscriptions, and related professional resources offered through fameplo. The services covered include access to materials on studio equipment setup, dynamic camera operation, lighting and sound waves, and workflows for television news and live shows. It governs transactions made by customers in the United Kingdom and explains the rights and obligations when buying these digital products and services.

Prices, currencies, taxes, and any additional charges

All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling. Prices include value added tax at the prevailing UK rate where applicable. No additional charges apply unless explicitly stated at checkout, such as optional add-ons for extended access or premium support. Customers are responsible for any currency conversion fees imposed by their payment provider if paying from outside the UK.

Accepted payment methods, payment authorisation, and payment security

We accept major credit and debit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers. Payment is authorised at the time of order placement. All transactions are processed through secure third-party gateways that comply with UK data protection standards. fameplo does not store card details. Authorisation confirms funds are available and reserves them until the order is confirmed or declined.

Order, booking, or service confirmation and when a contract is formed

A contract forms when you receive an order confirmation email after submitting payment details. This confirmation outlines the course access details and terms. Until this email arrives, no contract exists. Access to digital content is granted immediately upon successful payment confirmation.

Cancellation rights and applicable cancellation periods

Under UK consumer law you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase for most digital services. However, if you begin accessing the course content during this period, you lose the right to cancel. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time but refunds are limited to the unused portion after the cooling-off period.

Refund eligibility, exclusions, and non-refundable items or services

Refunds are available only if the service has not been accessed or if a technical fault prevents delivery. Digital downloads, completed courses, and promotional bundles are non-refundable once access begins. Exclusions also apply to services used for professional training where partial access has occurred.

The step-by-step procedure and information required to request a refund

To request a refund, contact info@nfts.co.uk with your order number, proof of purchase, and a clear reason. Include your full name and account email. Requests must be submitted within the applicable period. We require details of any issues encountered to assess eligibility.

Inspection, approval, rejection, and notification of the refund decision

Requests are reviewed within 10 working days. We inspect records of access and payment status. You receive notification by email whether approved or rejected, with reasons for any refusal. Approved refunds proceed to processing; rejected cases include guidance on next steps such as contacting 01494 671234 for further discussion.

Refund method, processing time, and when funds should reach the customer

Refunds return to the original payment method. Processing takes up to 14 days after approval, though credit card refunds may appear sooner. Bank transfers can take longer depending on your provider. You are notified when the refund is issued.

Special rules for digital content, subscriptions, services, or promotional offers where relevant

Digital content follows UK rules allowing cancellation before access starts. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Promotional offers have the same refund terms unless stated otherwise at purchase. No refunds for content already streamed or downloaded.

Failed payments, duplicate charges, chargebacks, and suspected fraud

Failed payments require retry within 48 hours or the order is cancelled. Duplicate charges are refunded automatically upon detection. Chargebacks trigger account review and possible suspension. Suspected fraud leads to immediate order hold and contact with info@nfts.co.uk for verification.

Mandatory consumer rights in the target country that the policy cannot exclude

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, UK GDPR, and the Consumer Contracts Regulations. You retain rights to remedies for faulty services regardless of this policy. Nothing here excludes liability for negligence or personal injury.

Contact route, policy changes, and last-updated date

The current version is dated 26 October 2026. Beaconsfield Studios, Station Road, Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, HP9 1LG and 01494 671234 are available for formal correspondence where required.
